Casa Kalypso is located 300 meters north of Steni Vala, on the beach of Glyfa. Steni Vala is a small fisherman village located in the northeast, approximately 10km from the port, Patitiri.
While small, the village has tavernas serving fresh fish and local specialties, coffee shops, mini markets and a scuba diving school.
Transportation to and from the port is provided by a local bus on a daily basis; taxis are also available.

Getting Around
A local bus runs regularly during the summer, from the port (Patitiri) to Chorio (Old Alonissos) and also to Steni Vala. Taxis, are also available and cars and motorbikes can be hired in Patitiri, the main port.
Alternatively, there are boats and fishing boats, which operate daily routes and trips to many beaches and seaside villages of the island, or you can rent your own boat from the travel agencies in Patitiri.

You can reach Alonissos either by ferry from Volos, Agios Konstantinos and Kimi ports or by plane to the neighbouring airports of Skiathos, Skiros and Nea Agchialos (Volos)
