Walking
There are a lot of paths and tracks on Alonissos and 14 official walking trails, providing an excellent opportunity to explore the coastal and inland nature. You can buy a walking map or a walking guide book locally and explore the island on your own, or you can participate in a guided walk. Guided walks are available in May/early June and September/October.
The Alonissos Challenge
The Organization of Culture, Sports and Social Activities of Alonissos organizes every year the Alonissos Challenge, a marathon which attracts runners and athletes from all over Greece and abroad, who experience the beauty of Alonissos, running or walking on different paths. The marathon takes place either in June or September.

Scuba Diving
Following the lift of government restrictions, Alonissos is rapidly becoming known as the Aegean’s new dive destination as the surrounding area is host to a large concentration of ancient and Middle Ages sea wrecks, as well as the National Marine Park, one of the best preserved marine ecosystems in the Med. Casa Kalypso is located 300 meters north from IKION diving centre in Steni Vala.

Kayaking
Sheltered by the neighbouring island of Peristera, the calm waters of the east coast, where Casa Kalypso is located have become a favorite spot for kayakers. Our two-seated kayaks are at your disposal to explore the coastline.
